Even though Magic Johnson appears to have a friendly grin, he is in fact a person who spreads slander. At one point, he was careless with a flight attendant.
Magic Johnson is almost certainly one of the most talented players on the team. He has an extensive list of accomplishments, some of which include five titles, multiple MVP honours, and other accolades, which clearly establish him as one of the top players in the game.
In spite of everything, he is still a human being. And everyone has areas where they could improve. It’s possible that Magic’s most significant flaw is that it’s too strict. Because he is so particular about how things should be, it becomes a source of contention whenever he is denied his wishes.
This was evident throughout his time spent living in Los Angeles, when he was a successful businessman in the 1990s, and in the middle of the 2000s. However, we are not aware of the fact that Magic’s fussy behaviour was frequently the result of a bad disposition on his part.
When he noticed that a flight attendant was consistently late for work, he finally snapped and dismissed her. The stewardess had a negative reaction to it, and she was considering suing the person who said it.
Magic Johnson fired a $25,000-$75,000 flight attendant.
A flight attendant files a discrimination claim against Magic Johnson based on her age.
There is no question that the stewardess will become enraged. The urban legend states that Magic Johnson was quite particular about the belongings he wanted to have with him on his flight.
The legendary player for the Los Angeles Lakers had a highly picky palate, and he didn’t like anything from ham and turkey sandwiches to pre-squeezed red vines. Even before he was allowed to enter the aircraft, he demanded that the flight attendant tidy up the inside of the cabin.
But she was getting a good reward for her efforts. In 2010, she was awarded bonuses that ranged anywhere from $25,000 to $75,000. The question is, where exactly did things go wrong?
Because of a wrist injury, the flight attendant, Lanita Thomas, was out of commission for a few months. Her position was filled by a flight attendant who is significantly younger than her.
Once she was returned, Magic revealed a frigid side of himself, and his attitude toward her steadily evolved as a result. In addition, on September 6, 2010, he dismissed her for being seven minutes late to the appointment.
After some time, both parties were able to reach a settlement, which was kept confidential, and the case was ultimately dismissed. These kinds of stories show that Magic was not the kind of wonderful Samaritan that we have come to think of him as being.
On a more macro level, he could be helpful, but in our day-to-day dealings with him, we might find him to be a nuisance.
