Free People will team with Paramount Consumer Products to offer a limited-edition “Yellowstone” line.
“Yellowstone” returns Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios. The series is about the Dutton family, owners of the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States.
Shifting alliances, unsolved killings, open wounds, and hard-earned respect make the setting for a ranch that’s always at odds with its neighbors-the burgeoning town, the Indian reserve, and America’s first national park.
The collab, which has an eight-piece limited-edition collection, will be sold freepeople.com and in some of the stores around the country from this coming Monday.
We the Free had collaborated with Fall Out Boy in this collaboration for the sub-brand of Free People that focuses on heritage-inspired basics and worn-in basics-the jeans, boots, outwear, tops, and some accessories ranging from 9 for a graphic wild t-shirt to 8 for Suzy suede jacket.
Each style features the signature and unmistakable “Y” of the Yellowstone logo.
The capsule was shot to life capturing “Yellowstone” actor Kelsey Asbille on the Dutton Ranch in Montana, where the show is filmed.
Yellowstone’s costume designer, Johnetta Boone, draws inspiration from Free People’s look. “We’ve utilized
Free People product so many times in prior seasons of ‘Yellowstone’ for our leading ladies, so I am excited to see that the look and feel of the series and our characters has in return inspired Free People’s ‘Yellowstone’ collection,” said Boone.
Asbille is the campaign face. It was shot by Yulia Gorbachenko at Chief Joseph Ranch in Darby, Montana.
The company sells apparel, intimates, shoes, and accessories. The brand has extended to include wellness, fitness, travel, and beauty.
Kendra Scott has also collaborated on “Yellowstone” goods. Last month, the company announced a line of limited-edition Yellow Rose by Kendra Scott x Yellowstone bracelets, rings, and necklaces for men and women.
It was inspired by the love story of Beth and Rip. The profit from the collection goes to Nest, which encourages and supports American craftsmen’s artistry and workmanship.
This is how the bohemian fashion brand, Free People, partners with the hit television series Yellowstone to bring an exciting new twist of fashion into the Wild West.
The release of this special limited-edition capsule collection commemorates the impact that this classic show has brought on modern fashion and lifestyle, bringing Yellowstone’s raw yet chic image directly to fans and fashion enthusiasts alike.
Yellowstone’s exciting Western theme has had a cultural significance that transcends the television scene and finds its expression in everything from home decor to clothing. Thanks to this collaboration, you may own a piece of Yellowstone-inspired style that embodies the essence of vast plains and mountain ranges.
Free People bohemian roots and Yellowstone western flair combine in a style so authentically free-spirited. This season, however, marks the brand’s venture into uncharted territory as it marries its trademark aesthetic with the rugged, outdoorsy image of the Dutton family and their Yellowstone Ranch.
Each piece in the collection takes a modern approach to Western fashion, using aspects like earthy tones, fringe detailing, embroidered accents, and sturdy fabrics which remind us of the show’s costuming.
HUGE wool coats flow prairie dresses knit sweaters that’ll keep you warm and complicated detailing on denim jackets all meant to capture Montana ranch lifestyles with effortlessly feminine Free People flair. The end result is a collection that will surely attract both Yellowstone fans and anyone who appreciates the contrast between raw and polished.
The collection also hosts accessories like leather belts, felt hats, and boots-all of which will complete the look, especially in the Western-inspired style.
These items easily allow you to embody strong and independent series characters from Beth Dutton’s bold, brave style to Kayce Dutton’s relaxed rancher look.
Yellowstone has appeal beyond its story, lots of stars, and beautiful landscape. The show boldly updated what it meant to dress in the American West for the twenty-first century.
With its colorful cast of characters, each with their own distinct pop of personality, the show has rekindled interest in cowboy boots, ranch clothing, and Western-inspired forms.
Beth Dutton, played by Kelly Reilly, is fast becoming a style icon thanks to strong, statement pieces like the fitted coats and flowy dresses, with rough edges.
At the other end of the Yellowstone spectrum, rip-roaring ranch manager Rip Wheeler, played by Cole Hauser, wears rather crumpled denim, outerwear utility. The show’s fashion impact can be seen outside the cinema as well, since everyday wear across the country seems to take influence from this show.
The elegance that Yellowstone brings with its raw power has revived the Western look in great style, making it perfect to be inspired by a fashion-forward alliance of this nature with Free People.
