Bette Midler, 77, Acknowledges Had Cosmetic Surgery on Her Face
Bette Midler, 77, Declares, “I’ve Got Some Tailoring Done,” That She Had Work Done On Her Face
Bette Midler acknowledged that she had cosmetic surgery on her face and that she now looks “fantastic.”
Bette Midler, 77, admitted that she had had work done on her face but doesn’t appear to have aged a day. On February 27, the Hocus Pocus actress gave a speech on her plastic surgery at the 25th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
When Bette won the Outstanding Collaborator Award, she said in her speech that she had “some tailoring” done to her face. “Time has a way of smoothing everything out,” she said. I’ve been doing it for about 60 years, and I know I look great. On my face, I had some tailoring done.
Bette has previously acknowledged to discussing plastic surgery, asking the question “Doesn’t everybody consider it?” to Extra in an interview from 2009. When it truly begins to crumble, she concluded, “I probably will start to give it a real good think.”
Bette not only had a fantastic speech, but she also had a stunning appearance on the red carpet. Bette looked stunning in a tight black gown with a sparkling jewel-encrusted front that accentuated her slim figure.
She accessorized with red patent leather heels, dangling diamond earrings and bracelets, a silver purse, and a short-sleeve gown with a high neck and a straight skirt. She wore neutral makeup and a matte nude lip to complete her look. She wore her blonde hair up in her typical bouffant.
