Michael Jordan has lost, in essence, $500 million in the span of three seconds during last year’s NBA Draft.
Jordan’s franchise, the Charlotte Hornets, went into the draft lottery and received the second pick.
The draft is comprised of 30 different teams from across North America; the picks are either former professional players in other worldwide leagues or new players who have not played in the NBA.
However, they must have graduated from high school at least a year earlier and be 19 years or older to be eligible players.
