Pete Davidson is not going to launch into space with Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin
After all, Pete Davidson won’t be in space next week.
The “Saturday Night Live” star and actor was to be launched on March 23 aboard the New Shepard, a suborbital rocket built by Jeff Bezos’ space company Blue Origin. But Blue Origin has delayed the launch, which will carry five more passengers, until March 29 and Davidson will no longer be able to fly.
“Pete Davidson can no longer join the crew of the NS-20 on this mission,” Blue Origin wrote in a statement Thursday evening (March 17). “We will announce the sixth crew member in the coming days”. Blue Origin did not indicate the cause of the delay in the launch of the New Shepard.
