Now that Jimmy is engaged and Beth is already married, there is no way to predict what will happen next.
It’s almost unbelievable that we’ve been in drought mode since 1883, when the Duttons’ origin story was finally wrapped up back in February. This is especially true when one considers how much of the Yellowstone universe has been set up for future exploration by members of the Paramount Network and Paramount+.
Even while we do not yet know everything that will be addressed in the Season 5 that is now being filmed, other than bringing some new characters to Yellowstone and its magnificent Montana setting, at least we now know when it will debut on November 13!
But I think viewers are starting to get a sign that John Dutton, played by Kevin Costner, might be taking his romantic life to the next level based on a video that was included in a recent episode. I base this belief on the fact that the video was included in the episode.
It’s possible that this train of thought is completely groundless and erroneous, but if you watch the video from Yellowstone below and keep the title in mind the entire time, you’ll get a better idea of what’s going on.
After what you just saw, I genuinely hope that my assumptions are starting to make more sense to you now. Because the character of John Dutton is a respect-earning family man and a generally fearless badass who gets shit done, and because he has been at the center of numerous moments that have sparked fans’ adoration, I believe that a video titled “Why We All Love John Dutton” implies footage and clips from a variety of different situations and scenarios.
This is because the character of John Dutton has been at the center of numerous moments that have sparked fans’ And although I won’t dispute the fact that the moments in the montage are unquestionably lovely, I would say that the subject matter of those occasions is a little…restricted.
In this regard, the majority of the film consists of sequences involving John and Lynelle Perry, both of whom were portrayed by Wendy Moniz-Grillo, although Summer Higgins, who was portrayed by Piper Perabo, makes a few appearances.
I believe the title of the video could have been “Why Female Yellowstone Characters Who Aren’t Beth All Want to Bone John Dutton.” Am I correct in this assumption? You should put Miss Flirty-Flirt, who appeared in the beginning, in that spot.
Season 5 may modify John Dutton’s dating status.
In spite of the fact that I will freely admit that I am particularly enthusiastic to dive into any Yellowstone rumors four months before the premiere of Season 5, I do truly find it funny that the title of this video isn’t more innocent or more appropriate to the topic that is currently being discussed.
Although it’s possible that it’s nothing at all, I think it’s a question that’s being asked in a covert manner: “Don’t we all like seeing John happy with a romantic partner of some kind?” And what other possible motivation could there be other than to coax John into beginning a relationship that is more committed?
Neither Lynelle’s possible future in the Senate nor Summer’s incarceration appear to be conducive to changes in the official boyfriend/girlfriend status of the individuals involved, despite the fact that Piper Perabo has hinted that things could start heating up again in Season 5.
Would it be possible for John and Summer’s relationship to progress to the point where they would, in a figurative sense, walk Beth and Rip down the aisle, presumably without the need for a priest to be kidnapped? Even if that were to happen, Yellowstone wouldn’t be doing itself any favors by concentrating more on John’s romantic relationships.
Not only that, but also to provide viewers with additional flashbacks to his marriage to Evelyn Dutton, who was portrayed by Gretchen Mol in Season 1, in addition to scenes such as those that are seen in the video that is located above this one.
I will freely admit that when I think of Evelyn, the first thing that comes to mind is not as John’s wife but rather as the mother of the Dutton family. However, I would be thrilled if this perception could be altered through a more in-depth investigation of their marriage and relationship in the years leading up to her passing.
Even if John did not pursue any other women, Yellowstone would still be able to continue developing Evelyn’s story; however, doing so in an organic manner would be preferable.
Regardless of whether or not my assumptions are correct, the premiere of Yellowstone Season 5 will be broadcast on the Paramount Network on Sunday, November 13 at 9 p.m. ET.
