Very soon, Steph Curry might return to the floor.
Warriors general manager and president of basketball operations Bob Myers responded to a report on Wednesday by saying that the team is hopeful that Curry will recover from his lower left leg injury in time for the team’s road trip the following week.
That’s the hope, Myers said to 95.7 The “Steiny & Guru” in The Game. “I believe the reason we are unable to provide you with more specific information is because it kind of depends on how he feels and whether he can handle the task.
Steph Curry
He just began playing live two-on-two and three-on-three games in an effort to reacquaint himself with contact and feel at ease.”
The wise and practical response is that they’ll find out how he feels tomorrow. observing how he feels the following day. So, hopefully, is he. That would be fantastic, but we also definitely do not want him to return when he is not prepared. That would be a grave error.

According to sources cited by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Wednesday, the Warriors are hopeful that Curry will make a comeback from his lower left leg injury at some point during the upcoming road trip.
Curry is “making good progress,” according to the team’s official statement later on Wednesday. The timing of his return to play will depend on how well he performs in full workouts and scrimmages.
Curry has been out since February 4, when he suffered a lower left leg contusion, partial tears to his superior tibiofibular ligaments, and tears to his interosseous membrane while playing against the Dallas Mavericks.
Golden State is now 5-4 without Curry, and on Tuesday night at Chase Center, they defeated the Portland Trail Blazers in a comeback victory to end the month of February on a three-game winning streak.
Curry practised earlier on Tuesday at the Warriors’ facility with the team’s backup and two-way players.
