The highly anticipated release of Taylor Swift’s 10th studio album is just a few days away, and the pop star has additional announcements planned before then. Swifties were given a taste of Midnights at midnight on Monday, October 17 when a line of lyrics appeared in a highly noticeable location: a huge billboard in Times Square in New York City.
A gloomy sight took over the enormous billboard at precisely twelve o’clock. The first set of lyrics, “I should not be left to my own devices,” appeared below the heading “Taylor Swift Midnights.”
Spotify’s Instagram account captioned a video of the reveal, “When the clock struck Midnight in NYC, lyrics from #TSMidnighTS made their first appearance.” “What comes next? ” In collaboration with Spotify, the lyrics will be revealed. The music streaming service claims that further lyrics will be released this week, with a separate set being presented on billboards in various places all around the world.
At midnight on Monday, Swift provided more content to her fans than just the lyric snippet display. Additionally, she disclosed the album’s 13-set release schedule. The teaser trailer for the album will premiere on Prime Video during the third quarter of an NFL game.\
The music video for “Anti-Hero” will premiere at 8 a.m. on Oct. 22, three hours after the album’s release, which the star claims will be a “special very crazy surprise.” ET. A second music video, with an unnamed song, will be released on October 25.
