Tom Brady’s Ex-Teammate Rejects NFL Legend’s Thanksgiving Plans

Tom Brady, the man widely known for his unmatched legacy in the NFL and all the Super Bowl wins, never fails to be in the news both on and off the field. His latest Thanksgiving plan has been met with a lot of debate, with one former Super Bowl-winning teammate strongly rejecting it. Let’s delve into the situation and what reactions it has sparked.

The Thanksgiving Controversy

The idea or plan presented by Brady for Thanksgiving did not win over his ex-teammate. The differing perceptions indicate that even those once tied by a championship do differ.

The Teammate’s View

One of his unidentified Super Bowl-winning former teammates exclaimed, apparently in disbelief, grounding his assessment on grounds that are either a personal viewpoint or a philosophical disagreement. These words have given a curious turn to Brady’s public character.

Sky-high anticipation had surrounded the debut of Tom Brady with Fox, but the grand moment failed to deliver on expectations. The big moment included an eagerly anticipated broadcast of Tom Brady analyzing the Dallas Cowboys vs. Cleveland Browns game, a moment that underwhelmed the audience.

To heat things up even more, former teammate Antonio Brown took it to Twitter to give the scathing review, in which he also misquoted Brady’s $375 million deal. He later apologized with hints that this might help bring about a reconciliation with Tom Brady.

Tom Brady making his broadcasting debut with Fox was one of the highly anticipated events in Week 1, but it came nowhere close to the excitement. Fans were eager to see Brady break down the game, especially as he received a big matchup for his first appearance: the Dallas Cowboys vs. Cleveland Browns.

However, fans of the NFL were still not entirely satisfied with the performance of Brady in the broadcast booth. Adding to this criticism was his former teammate Antonio Brown, who, on Twitter, voiced his disapproval by taking shots at Brady’s debut with a very sharp tweet:

“Maybe someone should have listened to Tom Brady actually say words before dropping $300 million on him.

Although Brown inaccurately quoted Brady’s broadcast salary—Tom signed a 10-year, $375 million deal—the sentiment he stated echoed the frustration many felt that evening.

It goes without saying that Antonio Brown and Tom Brady haven’t been having the best of times. Brown had previously taken shots at Brady, even making light of his very public divorce to Gisele Bündchen. But in the spring, in a shocking reversal, Brown reached out and apologized to Brady, telling him:

Tom signed a 10-year, $375 million deal

“It’s been a minute. We’ll rekindle that when it’s time. But we can both agree we may have treated each other in not the best way. But as men we can attest to what was going well and hash it out. Too many jokes, we don’t want to joke about his wife. I made a joke about it but let’s be for real.”

Before the pre-game preparations of the game between Cowboys and Browns, Tom Brady got some massive news. The long-anticipated deal for buying a stake in Raiders has been slowly progressing and now NFL reportedly gave Tom Brady guidelines on what he can and can’t do if he’s going to be an NFL owner.

According to the report, “NFL says that restrictions on Tom Brady are in effect immediately because his pending transaction to buy a partial stake in the Raiders includes,” He’s not allowed to attend broadcast production meetings in person or remotely; he may not be admitted to team facilities, team players, and coaching staff.

“He shall be permitted to broadcast Raiders games.”. He is also to observe the league constitution and bylaws that do not allow public criticism of officials and other clubs.
