A restraining order has been issued against Ricky Martin, saying the allegations were fabricated

Latin pop icon Ricky Martin has been granted a domestic violence restraining order in Puerto Rico. During a police search in the city of Dorado, where the singer lives, cops found a wealthy neighborhood

Police spokesman Axel Valencia said the order would be attempted to be served. “Until now, police haven’t found him,” Valencia said of Martin, whose representatives have denied the allegations are fabricated and false.

It was not immediately known who asked for the restraining order , as a result of Puerto Rico's domestic violence law, the police spokesman could not disclose details.

Martin's husband of six years, Spanish-born artist Jwan Yosef, is not the complainant, according to Telemundo. Yosef, 37, a Swedish-born artist, has been involved with Martin since 2016. They married in 2017.

In the order, Martin dated seven months with the person who filed the complaint, according to El Vocero. .At least three times, the petitioner alleged Martin ignored their breakup two months ago.

The order bars the “Livin’ la Vida Loca” singer from contacting or calling the person who filed it, police said. A judge will later decide during a hearing if the order should stay in place or be lifted.
