Stackable GaN chargers of 100W and 65W, as well as a 130W battery pack

The HyperJuice Stackable GaN USB-C chargers and HyperJuice 130W USB-C battery pack have been registered with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission

The battery pack overheated, causing "smoke, melting, and property damage," according to two reports

According to the government agency, between October 2020 and August 2022, Hyper sold over 18,200 stackable GaN chargers in North America, and over 13,800 battery packs between October 2018 and April 2022

Daniel Chin, the company's CEO, responded to deny that the products had been intentionally pulled from sale due to any defect, instead blaming a parts shortage

The 65W model has two USB-C and one USB-A ports, while the 100W model has an extra USB-C port

A total of 16 bricks for a maximum combined charging power of 1600W
