When the iPhone 15 is released the following year, Apple might switch the present "Pro Max" moniker for “Ultra.”

Apple may replace the current “Pro Max” label with "Ultra" when the iPhone 15 is released the following year.
----------------
With the release of the iPhone 14, Apple also made a little modification to its naming convention by reintroducing the “Plus” moniker for the iPhone 14 Plus.
----------------
All iPhone 15 models, not only the Pro and Pro Max (or Ultra) variants, might ship with the new Dynamic Island as standard equipment.
----------------
Additionally, there is a lot of speculation that the iPhone 15 will use USB-C rather than Apple's exclusive Lightning port
----------------
Pro Max is a bit of a mouthful, and Ultra just sounds better. I, for one, am in favour.
----------------
When a new generation is released, it will be fascinating to see if Apple alters the name in any way.

A number of new Macs, including updated M2 and M2 Pro Mac Minis, M2 Pro and M2 Max 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, are expected to be released by Apple before the year is through.
