The community is about to fulfill its Six Seasons and a Movie prophecy.
Peacock announced Friday that Community has greenlit The Movie seven years after the cult classic's 2015 series finale.
The feature-length follow-up reunites stars Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Jim Rash, and Ken Jeong.
Original cast members Donald Glover, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Chevy Chase were not connected.
They will executive-produce with McHale, Russ Krasnoff, and Gary Foster.
The film is slated to release in 2023.
"'Six Seasons and a Film began as a cheeky line from the opening seasons of Community and quickly ignited an ardent fan movement for this iconic, hilarious,
and cool NBC comedy," Susan Rovner, recreation chairman for NBC Universal Television, said in a statement.
