Ford is urging dealers to invest in electric vehicles as it strives for profits akin to those of Tesla.
Ford Motor Company is asking its nearly 3,000
dealers to invest up to $1 million in improvements to sell
all-electric automobiles.as the automaker seeks to reduce
overhead expenses and increase profitability.
At its retailers in order to better compete with Tesla.
Ford is giving its dealers the option of becoming
"EV-certified" through one of two programmes.
With investments ranging from $500,000 to $1.2 million.
Executives stated that dealers in the higher tier,
with an upfront cost of $900,000.It will receive
elite" certification and will be assigned more EVs.
