Jill Biden is becoming a lively FLOTUS with a ready smile, a sense of fun, and the Biden family's knack for connecting with ordinary people.

Despite the conditions of the coronavirus pandemic, she has traveled to promote her husband's policies and her own ambitious agenda,

sitting for a few media interviews and achieving formal first lady actions.

Here's a sampling of what she's been up to since the 2020 election and inauguration in January 2021.

First Lady Jill Biden had a busy last day of September as she entered President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris,

and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff at the Supreme Court for the installation of Supreme Court Associate Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Later she and the president attended a reception in the East Room of the White House for Hispanic Heritage Month,

with first lady Jill Biden embracing the second gentleman Doug Emhoff as President Biden looked on as President Biden hosted a Rosh Hashanah reception to celebrate the Jewish New Year.
