New Avatar 2 recordings have started (not underwater!).

After so long in development hell, the Avatar sequels seemed doomed.Avatar: The Way of Water is nearing release despite the failure of many previous films.

Recording the score is a big step toward its December release. The musicians don't have to play underwater!

On Jon Landau's Instagram, we can see that Avatar 2's score has been recorded.

Adding the score is one of the final processes before a film is considered done.

Given how long James Cameron spent writing these films and how often release dates were pushed back, it was natural to assume they would never be released.

James Horner, the original Avatar composer, is being replaced by a younger Cameron collaborator.In 2015, Horner died.Franglen knows Pandora.
