In a recent interview, Chad Stahelski, the filmmaker behind John Wick, has cast uncertainty on the future of the announced Chapter 5 in the franchise.
Stahelski admitted to not having a definitive answer when questioned about the possibility of a fifth installment, stating, "I honestly don't know."
While Lionsgate, the studio responsible for John Wick, remains enthusiastic about expanding the series, Stahelski currently lacks a concrete direction for John Wick 5.
Stahelski did mention the potential for a sudden burst of inspiration, remarking, "But I could wake up tomorrow and have a cool idea that I'd pitch to Keanu
or he would pitch to me, and it might hit that chord of: 'Oh my God, we got to do this right now."
The director expressed his eagerness to explore unused action sequences and scenes that he has envisioned for the franchise.
Stahelski emphasized the importance of avoiding repetition and striving for improvement, stating
