The man expresses gratitude, "I was truly nearly on the verge of death." Jeff Bridges talks about COVID-19 and his battle with cancer.

Jeff Bridges is recalling his severe medical difficulties with COVID-19 and cancer.

The 72-year-old True Grit actor said it will happen in 2020.

That a lymphoma diagnosis had been made for him.

In March 2021, he acquired COVID-19 while undergoing chemotherapy.

"The chemo needs to wipe away your immune reaction," Bridges stated to E! News, "so when COVID got me, I didn't have anything to fight it." "There were simply a couple moments when I came so close to dying,"

Jeff, you gotta fight, the physicians had told him, he recalled.

He asserted that his family, friends, and trainers had "brought me back."
