The TBS show starring JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers was canceled weeks before its premiere

The new reality series JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers was canceled on TBS before it aired.  The network reported on Friday, saying it had withdrawn the series to "ensure we have the right mix of content to support our networking strategies."

"We are grateful to JoJo Fletcher, Jordan Rodgers and the 'Big D' executive producers for their partnership in this process," said Page Six.

The introductory series of 10 episodes, filmed back to 2021, follows 10 divorced couples who move together to a tropical villa in Costa Rica and learn again how to date and find love with other couples.

Each contestant competed in a variety of relationship exercises to help singles make contact, make peace with their former partners, and ultimately solve problems that prevent them from dating. date "with one competitor eliminated each week.

The "Bachelorette" couple co-moderated the series and advised participants on how to find love on television. The couple has not yet commented on the cancellation of their show and even accredited their work on the show in their Instagram bios. 

The cancellation comes after WarnerMedia merged with Discovery in April 2022. The Big D's assessment followed a series of further cancellations after the network announced it would reduce costs by $ 3 billion over the next three years.

Fletcher and Rodgers left their own television romance when they met on "The Bachelorette" in 2016.
