Tom Hardy, an actor, joins a Jiu-Jitsu rival covertly and wins.

He is more than just a badass on television.

After secretly contesting in a Jiu-Jitsu match over the weekend, actor Tom Hardy dazed a group of martial artists in England.

The 45-year-old Oscar-nominated actor, a skilled self-defense blue belt, not only took part in but also won the 2022 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open Championship.

At the open contest in Milton Keynes, which is 90 minutes north of London, Hardy's unexpected company at the event looked to be a hit with both opponents and viewers.

In order to avoid using his theatrical name, which is also his middle name, Hardy joined the competition using his real name, "Edward," according to The Guardian.

According to the spokesperson, "everyone recognised him but he was really humble and was happy to take time out for people to take photographs with him."

It was great to have him compete at our event, I must say.
