The cold grip of a big winter storm that has been linked to at least 19 deaths is currently being felt by almost 250 million

people in the United States and Canada ahead of the holiday weekend.

Since Thursday, more than 1.5 million homes and businesses have been left without electricity, and hundreds of flights have been cancelled.

The enormous storm can be seen from Texas all the way up to Quebec, which is more than 3,200 kilometres away.

The Great Lakes, which are located on the border between the United States of America and Canada

are currently experiencing blizzard conditions as a result of a bomb cyclone.

Conditions like near-whiteout have been reported in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Buffalo, New York, all of

which are among the locations where the National Weather Service (NWS) of the United States reported visibility of “zero miles.”
