Verizon Communications Inc. partnered with Walmart Inc in order to sell a pay-as-you-go home wireless internet service for $45 per month.

The maximum connection speed will be 100 Mbps, and customers would need to buy an in-home router for $99 to use the service.
The new deal will provide an affordable method to use landlines at home to access the internet.
Verizon is currently focusing on consumers who have no credit history or little credit histories, such as renters, and students.
When Verizon acquired Tracfone for $6.6 billion last year, it surpassed all other prepaid mobile phone providers in the US.
