Verizon Communications Inc. partnered with Walmart Inc in order to sell a pay-as-you-go home wireless internet service for $45 per month.

October 18, 2022

This is the company's second significant product for the prepaid market in as many months

marks one of many significant steps my administration is taking to make education a path.

According to a business announcement, the service would be offered exclusively at Walmart shops in the upcoming weeks.

The maximum connection speed will be 100 Mbps, and customers would need to buy an in-home router for $99 to use the service.

oVerizon's prepaid offering will compete with T-Mobile US Inc.'s $50 per month Metro broadband, which debuted in March.

The new deal will provide an affordable method to use landlines at home to access the internet.

Verizon is currently focusing on consumers who have no credit history or little credit histories, such as renters, and students.

When Verizon acquired Tracfone for $6.6 billion last year, it surpassed all other prepaid mobile phone providers in the US.
