The gas pedal was pushed by Draymond Green. The Minnesota starting lineup relied heavily on Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns, two plodding big men. The dubs gained an advantage with every Timberwolves miss.

The Wolves scored a quick run to even the score at 15, but they could not maintain their lead against the Warriors for very long. Gobert and Towns were consistently out of possession as Golden State's offense flowed perfectly.
