'We do not want to see' Kevin Durant's trade request, NBA commissioner Adam Silver say

Adam Silver weighed in amid the busy NBA offseason headlined by the Kevin Durant sweepstakes.

Durant requested a trade just days before the New York Nets' four-year, 

$198 million contract extension became set to begin, Silver said in a news  

conference at the NBA Board of Governors meeting. In light of Silver's reputation as an 

incredibly pro-player commissioner, this kind of behavior isn't good for the league.

There is a need for a two-way street. Groups should offer gamers security and guarantees 

according to Silver. I am realistic that there are always going to be discussions  

that take place behind closed doors between gamers, their representatives
