Instagram, owned by Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:META), will soon allow users to create, sell and display Polygon (CRYPTO:MATIC) based non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Polygon does better than Ethereum at minting new NFTs due to its cheaper gas fees and faster transaction times.
At the time of writing, Polygon is trading at $0.934 according to Benzinga Pro, up 7.00% over the past 24 hours.
Instagram on Wednesday announced plans to integrate a complete end-to-end toolset that can be used for the entire process from creating NFTs to viewing and selling NFTs.
