Biden Again Criticizes Trump Over Hurricane Misinformation: ‘Get a Life, Man’

In the past two weeks, the White House has been coping with the aftermath of two horrible calamities while simultaneously working to rebut inaccurate information that has been distributed by the former president. Both of these events have occurred simultaneously.

Thursday’s warning from Vice President Joe Biden: the state of Florida is in for a long haul with Hurricane Milton; he also called out former President Donald J. Trump for spouting false information for the second straight day, calling him to “get a life, man.” He did that running for the second day.

Speaking directly to the nation from the White House, Mr. Biden called on Congress to approve funding for the organizations working on ground to distribute relief aid. His administration announced that FEMA was funded adequately for short-term disaster response but would need help for disaster recovery that lasts over a longer period of time. This he said would be so while making the announcement from his administration.

The Vice President Biden states, “We know from previous hurricanes that it is often the case that more lives are lost in the days following the storm than actually during the storm itself.” We are well aware of this phenomenon from our past experiences.

Furthermore, he suggested that this would come with a pretty steep price tag, or at least billions of dollars. He that was speaking said it is going not to be any matter of just a little time anymore.

In addition, Mr Biden indicated that Congress should return from its recess in order to provide support to the Small Business Administration (SBA). The SBA has expressed fear that it may soon be unable to provide loans to homeowners and businesses that have been harmed by the storms. Mr. Biden responded to the SBA’s desire to help the SBA.

Responding to the Vice President of the United States comment: “Speaking of the Small Business Administration, it is pretty right at the edge right now, and I think the Congress should be coming back and moving on emergency needs immediately.”

While the White House is working to respond to two devastating hurricanes that have occurred in the past two weeks, it is simultaneously striving to disprove the misinformation that has been circulated by President Trump and some of his allies.

Both of these hurricanes occurred in short succession. Over the past few days, Vice President Kamala Harris and Vice President Joe Biden have been making efforts to correct the misinformation that has been spread.

It was Mr. Biden who made the statement that “They have to put a stop to this.” Specifically, in regard to the manner in which they are discussing this topic, I mean, they are behaving in a manner that is so damned not American.

He has made a false claim that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) advised victims of recent natural disasters that they would only receive $750 in compensation for their losses. And directly talking to the camera while addressing Mr. Biden, he pleaded with Mr. Trump throughout the entire conversation, “get a life, man.” Take care of these particular people.

It has been determined by Mr. Biden that the efforts that were made to persuade residents to evacuate were successful. There were over eighty thousand who obeyed the shelter order in a safe facility and over a thousand four hundred federal personnel search and rescue personnel were deployed to the state.

Alejandro N. Mayorkas, Secretary of Homeland Security, was also featured in a video, shown at the White House press conference held earlier on Thursday.

While in North Carolina, where he is still in charge of coordinating the reaction to Hurricane Helene, he offered an update on Hurricane Milton. He was also in charge of directing the response to Hurricane Helene.

In spite of the fact that he indicated that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) have the resources necessary to appropriately respond to any hurricane that might arise in the weeks to come, he also stated that the agency would eventually want assistance from Congress.

In addition, Mr. Mayorkas stated that no resources from the response to Hurricane Helene will be diverted to the response for Milton in Florida. “We have the capability and the capacity to respond to and recover from multiple simultaneous disasters,” Mr. Mayorkas added. The city of Milton is located in the states of Florida.

According to Mr. Mayorkas, the danger that Milton posed has not reduced, despite the fact that it may have disappeared after some time.
