Someone in Ellis County, Texas, is getting a lot of attention after he bought an auction guitar that looked like Taylor Swift’s for $4000 and then broke it.
A man with white hair can be seen in the TMZ video hitting the guitar over and over with a hammer while the crowd laughs. Before he could do so, he looked like he was going to smash it on the ground. The audition host stopped him.
The Ellis County Wild Game Dinner is a non-profit organization that raises money to benefit youth agricultural education in Ellis County, according to the website. Swift hasn’t said anything about the video in public yet, and Billboard has asked the superstar’s team for a statement.
Swift is also busy getting ready for the last few stops of her huge, record-breaking Eras Tour. The $1 billion tour comes to an end on November 3 with the last of three shows at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The last three shows will be held at BC Place in Vancouver from December 6–8.
The singer of “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” recently made news when she backed Kamala Harris, who is currently Vice President and a Democratic presidential candidate. Harris called Swift back and said she was “very proud to have the support of Taylor Swift.” She’s a wonderful artist. When it comes to her job, I admire how brave she is to stand up for what she thinks is right.
