Selena Gomez Totally Surprised by Jimmy Kimmel’s Unexpected Engagement Gift

Jimmy Kimmel gave Selena Gomez a bizarre engagement gift she’ll probably never forget.

On Monday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the 57-year-old late-night host gave 32-year-old actress and singer Selena Gomez a gift that shocked everyone.

The gift was given to celebrate her and singer-songwriter Benny Blanco’s recent engagement.

“It’s not a traditional or useful gift, but I think you and Benny will really enjoy it,” Kimmel said. He then pulled out a box and said, “It’s called the Daddy Saddle.”

The front of the box had a picture of a little girl sitting on a saddle, which was strapped to her father’s back as if he were a horse.

Gomez covered her face in silent laughter as she immediately realized the double meaning behind the gift.

“You can ride around on Benny very innocently. I’m not suggesting anything that’s not right,” Kimmel joked.

“Look at this baby girl sitting on this saddle, and now imagine that baby girl is you. And imagine Benny is this dad with curly hair that reminds you of him,” he explained jokingly.

Kimmel then added that the gift may have been “regifted” as there was a small piece of Christmas gift wrapping still stuck to the box.

Gomez’s appearance on the late-night show comes after her recent Golden Globes success. At the event on January 5, she was nominated for her stellar performance in Emilia Perez and Only Murders in the Building.

Last month, Selena Gomez announced her engagement on her Instagram. She posted several photos, including a close-up of her large ring and a photo of Benny Blanco kissing her.
