For smart TVs, there’s already a glut of choices in the market in India, but few offer value and functionality simultaneously. However, the new Xiaomi X Pro QLED Smart TV takes the company to the next level in smart TVs, offering an amazing smart TV experience at quite a decent price. Well, that indeed is the case for now.

I have used the 55-inch variant of Xiaomi X Pro QLED smart TV, which has a market price of Rs 49,999 for the last fortnight as my mainstay device to watch content on, and hereby is my view on the product. The retail price of the product is Rs 49,999.

It is a QLED Smart TV, and this can be seen.

The Xiaomi X Pro QLED smart TV, as its name suggests, includes an additional quantum dot layer on top of the IPS panel. There are a range of panel types available for smart televisions due to the fact that there are many different types of panels accessible. The quantum dot layer is able to fix a few issues, such as lower contrast and color accuracy, that are often problematic for smart TVs that just have an IPS panel. Despite the fact that the quantum dot layer comes at a price, it is able to resolve these issues. The Xiaomi X Pro QLED, on the other hand, seems to strike a fair balance between the two, since it offers exceptionally high-quality colors without being excessively expensive.

There is a difference in thickness between the Xiaomi X Pro QLED smart TV and the Haier C11 OLED TV (review), but the Xiaomi X Pro QLED smart TV is also more affordable than the Haier C11 OLED TV. This device has a bezel-less design with a metal frame, which gives it the illusion of being of premium quality from the minute it is switched off till the moment it is being used.

Dolby Vision brings life to Cinema

Despite the fact that the television is approved for Dolby Vision and Dolby Audio, it does not support Dolby Atmos. This is a feature that is supplied by the Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro series, which is more affordably priced than the television in question. Initially, when I started using it, the television did not have sufficient bass and was not heard loud enough. On the other hand, after I chose DTS X from the available options, I was able to experience significantly improved surround audio coupled with thumping bass even when the volume was reduced. The integrated speaker arrangement of 30W does a fantastic job of giving an optimal audio experience, to the point that it eliminates the need for an external speaker or soundbar. In point of fact, the speaker arrangement is efficient enough to provide an optimal audio experience.

The sharpness of the image did not suffer in any way, even when viewed from that particular vantage point. The fact that my sofa is positioned considerably off-axis from the television stand does not change the fact that this is the case. It was also one of my favorites to watch the second season of Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which was made accessible on Prime Video in both the 4K quality and the Dolby Vision format.

A Minimal Remote

Remote

The moment I seized the remote control, I felt like going into a kind of familiarity. The mute button, on the other hand, was acting in a manner that was not functioning properly. You may activate the mute button by pressing it twice in quick succession. This button is also responsible for controlling the volume down, and it can also be used to silence the sound. While I would like remote controls that have a dedicated button for muffle, this one accomplishes the job just fine.

Runs on Google TV OS with PatchWall

There are two unique tiers of content discovery that may be accessed with the Xiaomi X Pro QLED smart TV. With regard to the operating system, one of these layers is based on Google TV, while the other is based on PatchWall, which is developed by Xiaomi.

The Xiaomi TV+ software that is built inside the Xiaomi X Pro QLED smart TV allowed me to watch live television on the device. This was made possible by the fact that the software is embedded within the device. This application provides access to over two hundred free television stations, each of which receives transmissions in high definition.

A comprehensive home entertainment solution

When it comes to the Xiaomi X Pro QLED smart TV, the 55-inch model is quite close to being perfect in every way. It is suitable with the majority of house layouts because to its premium design, and it is of great quality in terms of both the picture and the audio that it produces. Right now, the Xiaomi X Pro QLED, which can be acquired for less than Rs 50,000, is an alluring smart TV that you should take into consideration taking into consideration.
